The Idaho Grape montipora is a plating montipora that varies in color from a light lavender purple to a grayish purple to a deeper more �grape� shade of purple and has lots of grooves and ridges. This coral prefers moderate lighting and moderate flow. Given the right conditions this can be a very rapid growing coral.
